The beginning of April is often rife with ‘comedy’ bits designed to trick you into believing all manner of tomfoolery. Not so at toggle gaming. Well, to a point. But this week is ALSO a full moon (and a “pink moon” to boot). So it seems apt to suggest we might… play deception games about moon-related stuff? Come and find out! The fun starts at 6pm at LCC, (2025 S Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights). Join us, won’t you?
Upcoming Special Event Nights:
We’re trying something new — special event nights! Some weeks, we’ll have something special in addition to our usual open gaming, fun movies, and more.
- First Wednesday: New Member Welcome Night (4/1) – New members are always welcome at toggle, but we’re going to try and be a bit more gregarious on the first Wednesday of each month — a bit more likely to stay in short games people can join easily, a bit quicker to hop up and say hi, and so on. We also encourage you to bring new members on this week in particular. We’ll also offer a free soda and snack to new members and to the toggler who brought them.
- ALSO: The Night of Fools! (Social deduction games, 4/1) – Let’s break out all the games about sneaking, tricking, fooling your opponents!
- Potluck! (4/8) – Take part in the great Midwest tradition! Bring food, share food, enjoy.
- Birthday Celebration (4/15) – On the third Wednesday of each month, we celebrate the birthdays for the month. Born in April? Know someone born in April? Like Cake? This will be your night.

Toggle sometimes has extra copies of games that we already have in the library, or games that people have donated. We’ve introduced a new ‘play to win’ table. Play a game on the play to win table. The winner, or someone else who played if they already have a copy, takes the game home!

Recently at toggle, we’ve played Heat: Pedal to the Metal; Crystallized; ROOT; Underwater Cities; Bomb Busters; Catan; Ark Nova; and more!
Things to Expect at Toggle Gaming:
- A Huge library – try games from our library of 400+ titles or bring your own!
- Bring Food and Drinks – Our host, LCC, allows us to bring whatever food and drink we like, as long as we clean up after ourselves. Sometimes we arrange specific food events (see above for details).
- A Welcoming Environment – We at [toggle Gaming] welcome anyone and everyone to our game table. Whether you’re new to the hobby or a die-hard grognard, we’d love for you to join us!
- Designers ahoy – We have quite a few designers who come to [toggle Gaming] with prototypes to try. Maybe you’ll play the next CANVAS in prototype form!
