The weather may not know it, but it’s autumn! Get on over here and play some September games with us! What are September games? Nobody knows. We’ll find out together on Tuesday, September 5th. One thing for sure: they’re gonna be great. We’re meeting from 6pm to 11pm, upstairs at Nellie’s in Palatine. Join us, won’t you?

August comes to a close and with it, summer. When we meet in September, the fashion wags will have banned white clothing for nine months, and we’ll have begun the tyrannical reign of months ending in ‘ber.’ So gather ye rosebuds while ye may, and come play games with us! Sure, most people remember the Ides of March, when Julius Caesar was killed by his pals in the Roman Senate. But what about the Ides of August? It’s the middle of August and you’ve played hardly any of the games from Gencon. You’ve got those old favorites you wanted to dust off this summer. You’ve got so much to play and so little time! July 18th, 64AD marks the beginning of the great fire of Rome, during which Nero famously ‘fiddled.’ With their high-powered air con, our game night won’t be so hot, but why not commemorate the conflagration with a game of Fire Tower or Flashpoint Fire Rescue or something about ancient Rome?
