August comes to a close and with it, summer. When we meet in September, the fashion wags will have banned white clothing for nine months, and we’ll have begun the tyrannical reign of months ending in ‘ber.’ So gather ye rosebuds while ye may, and come play games with us! Sure, most people remember the Ides of March, when Julius Caesar was killed by his pals in the Roman Senate. But what about the Ides of August? It’s the middle of August and you’ve played hardly any of the games from Gencon. You’ve got those old favorites you wanted to dust off this summer. You’ve got so much to play and so little time!
