On May 13th in 1637, Cardinal Richelieu of France had his servants file the sharp points off the house knives because he was tired of the ill manners some of his table guests displayed, stabbing meat and picking their teeth with their dinner daggers. And thus, the table knife was invented. What better way to celebrate than join us for dinner, drinks, and games at Nellie’s in Palatine? Maybe you can play a dinner-themed game, perhaps Donner Dinner Party, or maybe a game about Renaissance Europe like Royals? Either way, you’ll have fun and camaraderie as you do so. Join us from 6pm – 11pm upstairs!
