It’s 9/9! It’s the perfect night to play nine games. Or just play one game that you’d rate a 9/10. Or one where you get to shout ‘no’ in German a bunch. However you decide to celebrate September 9th, do it with your friends at toggle Gaming! We’re meeting, as we do every week, from 6pm at LCC and go until 11 (2025 S Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights). toggleTop Day 2026!
Each year, we hold an all-day gaming event to celebrate [toggle Gaming]’s birthday. This year, we’re holding it on Saturday, September 26th. Here are some of the festivities we’re thinking about:
- Used game sale — bring your games and auction them, silently, off to other togglers!
- LCC Food Pantry donation drive / fundraiser
- Game tournament
- A full day of amazing gaming with wonderful people. Or wonderful gaming with amazing people. Your call.

Recently at toggle, we’ve played HeroQuest; Nature; Root; Skull; Splendor; String Railway; Betrayal at House on the Hill; and more!
Upcoming Special Event Nights:
Some weeks, we do something special in addition to our usual open gaming, fun movies, and more.
- September Birthday Celebration (9/16) – If you were born in September among the falling leaves and back to school drama, this is the day to delight in you! Join us.
- toggle-top day (9/26) – Each year, we have two game days. Our Summer/Fall game day celebrates the anniversary of the club and welcomes members who come occasionally but can’t make Wednesdays. We’ll game from 10am to 6pm at LCC, and have a good time doing so! Keep an eye out in early September for more details.
- New Member Welcome Night (10/7) – New members are always welcome at toggle, but we’re going to try and be a bit more gregarious on the first Wednesday of each month — a bit more likely to stay in short games people can join easily, a bit quicker to hop up and say hi, and so on. We also encourage you to bring new members on this week in particular. We’ll also offer a free soda and snack to new members and to the toggler who brought them.

Things to Expect at Toggle Gaming:
- A Huge library – try games from our library of 400+ titles or bring your own!
- Bring Food and Drinks – Our host, LCC, allows us to bring whatever food and drink we like, as long as we clean up after ourselves. Sometimes we arrange specific food events (see above for details).
- A Welcoming Environment – We at [toggle Gaming] welcome anyone and everyone to our game table. Whether you’re new to the hobby or a die-hard grognard, we’d love for you to join us!
- Designers ahoy – We have quite a few designers who come to [toggle Gaming] with prototypes to try. Maybe you’ll play the next CANVAS in prototype form!
