Tabletop Tuesday at Nellie’s, 28 Sep ’21

[toggle Gaming] presents: Tabletop Tuesday! September comes to an end! Come on in and check out the many games that were very generously donated to [toggle Gaming] by publishers. We start at Nellie’s Gastropub in Palatine at 6pm, and go until 11pm. Order some food and a tasty beverage and we’ll be glad to see you.

[toggle Gaming] encourages attendees to follow local, state, and federal guidelines for gathering safely. At present:

  • All [toggle] attendees must wear masks.

A deluge of new games!

Our King of Promotions Alan Greenberg has come through again! Last week, he strode the halls of Gencon, spreading the news about [toggle Gaming] and soliciting new games for us to try and share. Come on out to see and try the many new games we added to the library last week. Big thanks to Alan for his tireless work on our behalf, and to all the publishers who donated games.

Bring your own games or use our library. We have over 400 games for you to use, or you can bring your own! Each week, 50-100 people meet at Nellie’s to play all sorts of different games. Recently we’ve had a great time, playing games of Golden Ticket, Mastermind, Nemesis, Tidal Blades, Cards Against Humanity, Loopin Chewie, Titania Ascending and more!

Lot of great games

Tabletop Tuesday events have often played host to designers of all stripes, with games at all levels of development. If you’re going to bring a prototype to test, you should also plan to play games with other people as well, trading tests for tests.

Party games galore!

We start at 6:00pm and go until 11pm. But you don’t need to be there the whole time. Arrive when you like, leave when you want. If you’re hoping to play something specific–especially something “heavier” that might take a little preparation–consider heading over to our Facebook page to pre-arrange your game. Nellie’s has a lovely patio you can use for outside play when the weather is pleasant.

Those zombies don’t stand a chance!

While [toggle Gaming] is an adult event held at a bar, feel welcome to bring your children with you. Our library has many family friendly games, and we regularly welcome younger gamers to the table.

Come by, grab a pint, roll some dice, play some cards, collect some cubes, watch some flicks, see familiar faces, and make new friends.

If you’re a member of Chicago Game Lovers ( as well; be sure to RSVP to the meetup there as well so we can tell the members there how much fun we have!

[toggle Gaming] is proud to be sponsored by XYZ Game Labs.
