When I was a kid, my buddy Nate was a little obsessed with the number 23. He called it his favorite number, and would point it out every time it appeared. I’ve since learned that 23 has significance in some occult and mystical literary works; in these works, 23 is considered lucky, unlucky, sinister, strange, sacred to the goddess Eris, or sacred to the unholy gods of the Cthulhu Mythos. This confluence of ideas, sometimes called the “23 Enigma” came to mind as I noticed that tomorrow is May 23rd. So, barring any eikositriophobia in your party, venture out to Nellies from 6pm-11pm to join us for games and whatever other mysteries the evening shall reveal!

What better way to celebrate this discovery than to engage in the most human of activities: play. That’s right–the pre-eminent scientists of the 20th century demand it.
